When the Kansas City Chiefs teamed up with Travis Kelce’s clothing brand, Tru Kolors, for a dynamic apparel drop, I had the incredible opportunity to help bring their vision to life. This collaboration wasn’t just about showcasing streetwear—it was about celebrating the essence of Chiefs football and blending it with urban style. And let me tell you, this shoot was one for the books.
An Electric Collaboration
Travis Kelce is a powerhouse both on and off the field, and his impact on the Chiefs’ brand is undeniable. Pairing his energy with the team’s iconic vibe made this project a dream to photograph. On the Field at GEHA Arrowhead Stadium
One of the coolest aspects of this shoot? Getting to shoot inside the legendary GEHA Arrowhead Stadium. Walking into the stands, stepping onto the field, and absorbing the energy of the home of the Chiefs—it’s hard to describe how surreal it felt. Shooting in this space gave the photos a true authenticity, capturing the heart of Chiefs football and its connection to the fans.
From wide shots of models on the field to intimate close-ups in the stands, the stadium itself became a star of the shoot. It was like merging the worlds of sports and streetwear into one cohesive narrative.
Streetwear Meets Urban Kansas City
The urban theme didn’t stop at the stadium. We took the shoot to some of Kansas City’s most textured locations—alleyways with bold graffiti, hidden corners with industrial vibes, and everything in between. These backdrops gave the shoot a gritty, street-style edge that perfectly complemented the designs of the collection.
